Position Overview:

• Unidine is seeking experienced and reliable Line/Grill Cooks to join the team. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
• Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and production standards

Perform grill cooking, line cooking, and batch cooking as needed

Prepare soups, dressings, and sauces from scratch

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Grill Cook and Line Cook
• Batch cooking experience required
• Strong knife skills (must be able to dice, slice, mince, and peel)
• Knowledge of cooking techniques including roasting, steaming, braising, stewing, sautéing, simmering, boiling, and searing
• Experience safely operating kitchen equipment such as steamers, slicers, ovens, mixers, food processors, and blenders

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or institutional food service strongly preferred
• Experience preparing therapeutic or special diets preferred

• Keep cooking station clean and orderly during shift
• Comply with all sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment
• Safely use and operate cooking appliances and utensils
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service for guests as needed
• Assist in ordering and receiving food products for the kitchen as needed
• Work in a busy environment and standing for long periods of time
