Experienced PUNK Drummer wanted for established Chicago band

Our beloved drummer is moving on so we are ISO of a solid person to fill his shoes. We are an original, creative band with a distinctive sound informed by ‘70s west coast punk, hard-rock, and psychedelia. We aren’t afraid to create variety in our sound as long as it’s authentic. We like the weird, angry, and energetic, and we work hard to not be imitative. We have a few EPs on major platforms/Bandcamp and one is currently in the final mixing stage. We’ve played various Chicago venues (will play next two gigs with current drummer) and look forward to more venues/EPs in 2027 with new drummer.

We’re looking for a drummer who can fill out a three-piece band with dynamic shifts, percussive range, who possesses qualities similar to Moon, Peligro, and Densmore, and looks forward to having fun playing. Check us out if you’re interested and have discipline (committed to regular rehearsals and homework in between practices), are open to musical direction and collaboration, and will make our band a priority/primary band. We have videos/songs on the ‘Gram (@phetmakchicago) and the Tube under the same name.
