The Ace features Priority’s Gates Carbon Drive belt system, so there’s no greasy chain and very little maintenance. It has a lightweight 6061 aluminum frame, single-speed drivetrain, flip-flop rear hub, and rim brakes.
The flip-flop rear hub gives you two options. One side is a fixed gear, where the pedals move whenever the rear wheel moves. The other side is a freewheel, where you can stop pedaling while the bike continues to roll. To switch between the two, you simply remove the rear wheel, flip it around, and reinstall it.
This particular bike is fitted with Gatorskin Grand Prix all-season tires, which are a nice upgrade for everyday riding.
