# SERVICE TECHNICIAN – $1,000–$2,500/WEEK – MULTIPLE TRADES WELCOME
**1099 Independent Contractor | Flexible Schedule | Work Independently**
### CAN YOU FIX MACHINES WITHOUT SOMEONE HOLDING YOUR HAND?
If you're an experienced technician, mechanic, electrician, or mechanically inclined troubleshooter who knows how to diagnose problems, read schematics, and figure out why machines aren't working, **we may have an opportunity for you.**
We're looking for independent service technicians to diagnose and repair residential appliances in customers' homes.
**You do NOT need previous appliance repair experience.**
But you DO need real technical experience, confidence in your troubleshooting abilities, and the willingness to figure things out on your own.
**IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A TRAINING POSITION.**
We're not looking for beginners or people who need to be taught how to use tools, diagnose electrical problems, or disassemble mechanical equipment.
We're looking for experienced technical people who can take the skills they already have and put them to work immediately.
You'll also communicate directly with customers, explain your findings, and manage your own appointments.
**You must be comfortable working alone, making decisions, and taking responsibility for getting the job done.**
### YOU WILL ENCOUNTER MACHINES YOU'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. GUARANTEED.
Here's something people outside this industry don't understand.
**You can spend 20 years repairing equipment and STILL encounter something you've never worked on before.**
Different manufacturers. Different designs. Different control systems. Different problems.
That's the nature of the business.
Nobody expects you to memorize every machine ever manufactured.
But we DO expect you to know how to figure things out.
Can you pull up a wiring diagram and trace an electrical problem?
Can you find a service manual and follow a diagnostic procedure?
Can you contact manufacturer technical support when necessary?
Can you research an unfamiliar machine, understand how it operates, and develop a logical troubleshooting plan?
**If your answer is YES, that's the kind of technician we're looking for.**
If your first reaction to an unfamiliar machine is "I've never seen this before, so I can't work on it," this opportunity probably isn't for you.
**We want problem solvers. Not parts changers who need someone else to tell them what to replace.**
### WHAT WE REQUIRE
**1. REAL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE.** You must already have hands-on experience diagnosing, disassembling, and repairing mechanical or electrical equipment.
**2. CONFIDENCE WORKING INDEPENDENTLY.** You must be prepared to enter the field immediately. No training program. No hand-holding. No constant supervision.
**3. TROUBLESHOOTING ABILITY.** You must be comfortable working with schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, diagnostic tools, and technical support.
**4. CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.** You'll be working inside people's homes. You must be professional, respectful, and comfortable communicating with the general public.
**5. RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.** You must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
**6. GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE.** If accepted, you'll need to obtain and maintain your own general liability insurance.
**7. SELF-DISCIPLINE.** You must be comfortable managing your own schedule, keeping appointments, communicating with customers, and working without someone constantly checking on you.
### WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
**POTENTIAL EARNINGS: $1,000–$2,500 PER WEEK**
- 1099 independent contractor opportunity
- Flexibility to manage your own schedule
- Work independently without constant supervision
- Put your existing technical skills to work
- Opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment
- No previous appliance repair experience required
Earnings depend on completed work and available service volume. The advertised range is an estimate, not a guarantee.
### THIS OPPORTUNITY IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
If you're looking for a company to teach you how to troubleshoot machines from scratch, **don't apply.**
If you need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what to do, **don't apply.**
If you're afraid to speak with customers, **don't apply.**
If you refuse to research unfamiliar equipment or work through challenging technical problems, **don't apply.**
But if you're an experienced technician who can walk into an unfamiliar situation, assess the problem, consult the appropriate technical resources, and figure out what needs to be done...
**WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU.**
### READY TO PUT YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS TO WORK?
We don't care whether your experience comes from repairing industrial machinery, troubleshooting PLC systems, fixing automobiles, servicing HVAC equipment, maintaining boilers, or repairing household appliances.
**We care whether you can diagnose problems, think independently, and get machines working again.**
If that describes you, apply today.
**When applying, briefly describe your technical background, the types of equipment you've repaired, and your experience troubleshooting electrical or mechanical problems.**
