Experienced Family Assistant / Household Manager — East Bay — $40–55/hr
Experienced, reliable family professional seeking a long-term household manager / family assistant position with a busy East Bay family.
I provide the kind of practical, dependable support that makes daily family life easier—someone who can take ownership of the details rather than needing to be managed.
Services include:
• Family and household organization
• Errands, shopping, returns and pickups
• School and activity transportation
• Children's homework, reading and academic enrichment
• Appointment and calendar coordination
• Laundry and household routines
• Light meal preparation and kitchen organization
• Pet care and pet-related errands
• Children's supervision and occasional childcare
• General household and family logistics
I am comfortable working independently, anticipating needs, handling confidential family matters appropriately, and keeping track of multiple moving parts.
I have extensive experience working with children and families in childcare and educational settings, as well as a BA in Czech Literature. I particularly enjoy supporting children's reading, writing, learning and enrichment.
I'm looking for a family interested in consistent, ongoing support, ideally 15–25 hours per week on a predictable schedule.
Rate: $40–55/hour depending on responsibilities, schedule and scope of the position.
Preferred areas include Berkeley, Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito, Orinda, Lafayette, and nearby East Bay communities.
