Five Star Rain Gutters is hiring both experienced installers and motivated trainees. We’re a family-owned company with more than 37 years of experience and have been voted “Best of SLO” from 2017–2026.
We provide year-round work throughout San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara Counties, installing and servicing high-quality gutter systems for residential and commercial customers.
Experienced Installer — $25–$40 per hour
We’re looking for skilled professionals with at least two years of experience in rain gutter installation, roofing, or related exterior construction.
Ideal candidates have experience with:
• Seamless gutter fabrication and installation
• Aluminum, copper, and steel gutter systems
• Accurate on-site measuring and layout
• K-style/OG, half-round, and fascia gutters
• Downspouts, gutter guards, repairs, and cleaning
• Shingle, metal, or flat roofing systems
Lead installer or crew leadership experience is a plus.
Installer Trainee — Starting at $20 per hour
No gutter installation experience? We’re willing to train dependable, hardworking individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and build a career.
You may be a great fit if you:
• Have construction, roofing, carpentry, or general labor experience
• Are comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Learn quickly and take pride in quality work
• Show up on time and work well with a team
• Want opportunities to increase your skills, responsibilities, and pay
