Hi! I’m launching a small luxury resale brand of authentic vintage designer jewelry. It’s mostly gold-tone earrings, plus a few bracelets and necklaces. The vibe I’m going for is Dior-inspired: soft white, cream, and gold, clean and elegant, timeless but not stuffy.
I’m looking for a photography student or beginner photographer who’d like to have some fun with me building the brand’s look from scratch.
What we’d work on together:
# True-to-color product shots. Gold and vintage finishes can be tricky, and I want buyers to see exactly what they’re getting.
# A go-to setup. Consistent lighting, background, and angles so everything looks like it belongs together.
# Hero and thumbnail shots. This is the fun part. Bold, eye-catching, scroll-stopping, whatever you dream up. Thumbnails just need to pop in a grid and still look good small.
# Close-ups of signatures, hallmarks, and logos, so buyers can see the pieces are the real deal
# The little details. We’ll experiment with the best sizes for each platform, and if you’re the type who notices a speck of dust, we’ll get along great.
# Lifestyle vignettes, as a side project. Once the product shots are in good shape, we can play with more lifestyle-style scenes: styled setups, moments, and little stories around the pieces.
What’s in it for you:
# Real vintage designer pieces for your portfolio
# Full photo credit
# Creative freedom on hero shots and a say in the brand’s look from day one
# A reference or testimonial whenever you need one
# The chance to grow with the brand as it takes off
This is a mostly unpaid a portfolio-building collab. It’s perfect for students at UMass, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, or Amherst College, or anyone starting out in product, jewelry, or luxury photography.
Interested? Send me a link to your portfolio, Instagram, a line or two about your style, and when you’re usually free. No jewelry experience needed. If you’re also into social media content, tell me. That’s a big bonus!
