Posting Lifespan

Postings are live on the site for different amounts of time depending on the type of posting. 

Paid postings are live on the site for 30 days.

• Publishing your posting is a one time charge. craigslist does not have any automated renewal fees, subscription fees, or additional charges.
• It is not possible to move an existing paid posting to the top of the listings. A new posting or repost must be created and purchased to be listed at the top of "by date" search results.

Free postings are live on the site for between 7 and 45 days.

Event postings are live on the site depending on the information provided in the posting.

All postings move down the listings as new postings are published.
