These are hand-knotted, traditional-style area rug featuring a classic Oushak / Sultanabad-inspired floral design with an all-over motif set against an ivory/cream central field.
• Field & Motif: Large, stylized palmettes, oversized floral motifs, and vine scrolls rendered in rust/burnt orange, sage green, steel blue, rose/mauve, and soft beige tones.
• Borders: A prominent, broad teal/greenish-blue main border flanked by secondary inner and outer guard borders. The main border is adorned with stylized cypress trees and flowering plants.
• Construction & Material: Hand-knotted wool pile on a cotton warp foundation, featuring short tied fringe along the ends.
Smaller is 72" x 51" - Larger is 100" x 76"
