This was a local bus and I know the mechanics at the Bus Yard where it came from and they said it’s a great runner with no known issues
Body is straight as an arrow with zero rust, Some peeling paint on the front grill and Hood that shows black primer underneath the yellow School Bus paint, minor dent on right rear corner ( see Photos )
Inside of the bus is Dusty and will need a good cleaning
Big storage bins on both sides of the bus
Mechanically, the bus runs like a champ, and I wouldn’t hesitate driving it anywhere without disappointment, it checked out through the shop and passed our strict quality control as far as engine, transmission, suspension, steering and brakes
Excellent oil pressure and does not blow any smoke, starts right up on the coldest of cold days
Has the cummins 6.7 turbo charged Diesel engine and heavy duty Allison automatic transmission with lock up torque converter and overdrive
68 to 70 miles an hour top speed on the highway
These engines easily go 400.000 miles and some make it past 500,000 miles, just broken in with the mileage that is currently on it
Tires are fair
Brakes are 75% to 80%
Bus is 39’ bumper-to-bumper, approximately 29’ of usable space from behind the driver seat to the rear door, 6‘5” of floor to ceiling headroom and 7 1/2 feet interior width
