Winter Property Caretaker Available– MADISON, WI (Dane Co. and surrounding)

I’m a responsible, reliable professional who enjoys a quieter lifestyle and values taking good care of my home. When I’m not working, I love gardening, homesteading projects, traveling, and spending time with animals. I’m looking forward to putting my down roots back down in Wisconsin and becoming part of a local community that feels like home. I feel that this is the perfect opportunity for that!
I'm looking for a seasonal arrangement anywhere in Dane/Columbia/Rock counties. I am available immediately through spring 2027.
What I'm looking for:
- A furnished, separate living space on your property(negotiable), such as a guesthouse, cottage, small apartment, or in-law suite.
- A place where my well behaved dogs, Rocky(Pomsky) and Rolo(English Bulldog) are welcome.
- Ideally, housing in exchange for light caretaking duties, with utilities included.
- A stay through the winter, with dates and expectations agreed upon in advance.
What I can offer:
- A responsible person living on-site while you're away. (I don’t drink/smoke/vape nor do drugs)
- Regular checks of your property and home.
- Keeping an eye out for problems, bringing in mail, and notifying you if anything needs attention.
- Clear communication and updates while you're gone for added peace of mind.
I'm interested in a straightforward, mutually beneficial arrangement that gives you peace of mind and gives me a stable place to stay for the winter.
Open to locations within an hour of Dane Co. Regional Airport. As I would still be working p/t with American Airlines.
