I have a pair of Cerwin Vega R-26 speakers that were manufactured in the late 70's. When new, they were expensive speakers. They have walnut veneer cabinets that are in very good shape. They don't build them this solid anymore. They sound very nice and you won't need a subwoofer, since they have a very strong low end. They are heavy speakers. I may accept a reasonable offer.
Specs:
12" rear ported L-121 woofers
DT-6 tweeters
60w RMS, 120w peak
96 dB sensitivity
30Hz - 25kHz
Crossover is listed at 2.5kHz
26" H, 14.6"W, 12" D
45-50 lb ea
I pulled the crossover and measured all the components and they were all within tight limits. The foam surrounds look to be in excellent condition and were probably replaced. They certainly don't look deteriorated or 50 years old. The grills are missing.
