Higher Grounds Coffee Co. in Windham is looking for a few friendly, reliable people to join our team.
We're a busy, casual café serving breakfast and lunch, coffee and specialty drinks, sandwiches, baked goods and more. We're looking for people who are comfortable working around food, enjoy interacting with customers, and are dependable and willing to pitch in as part of a team.
Experience in a café, restaurant or food service is helpful, but not required. We're happy to train the right person. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, reliability and good customer service skills are most important to us.
We can be flexible and are open to both part-time and full-time applicants. Our greatest needs right now are:
Midweek mornings through early afternoon
Afternoon/closing shifts
We would also consider additional weekend help
Duties may include taking and preparing orders, making sandwiches and other simple food items, preparing coffee and drinks, helping customers, keeping the café clean and stocked, and pitching in wherever needed.
For someone with the right experience and interest, there may also be an opportunity to take on a management role or grow into one.
