TIMEWHYS IS LOOKING FOR “THE UNICORN”
There HAS to be someone out there.
Ideally, TimeWhys is looking for that rare musician who can handle KEYBOARDS + BASS + VOCALS.
But here’s the important part:
If you’re a STRONG KEYBOARD PLAYER who can sing but don’t play bass, we still want to hear from you.
And if you’re a STRONG BASS PLAYER who can sing but don’t play keyboards, we want to hear from you too.
We may ultimately divide the current role between two musicians if we find the right people. What matters most to us is finding great players, strong harmony vocals, reliability, and the right fit for the band.
Our current keyboard/bass player will be leaving the band at the end of 2026, so we’re starting the search now.
TimeWhys plays Authentic Classics from the ’60s, ’70s & Beyond and maintains a busy schedule of festivals, casinos, wineries, community events, private events and other quality venues throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area.
For keyboards, we’re looking for someone comfortable with the sounds this music calls for — piano, electric piano, organ, and tasteful fills — rather than someone focused primarily on synth-heavy playing.
For bass, we need someone who can lock in, learn the arrangements accurately, and play for the song.
HARMONY VOCALS ARE IMPORTANT. Lead vocals are a plus, but not essential. You may sing a few leads, but we’re much more interested in someone who can contribute solid harmonies.
We play approximately 50–60 dates per year, so reliability and availability matter. We’re an established, working band with a professional setup and approach.
