OrangeBag is a family-owned laundry pickup & delivery company serving homes and businesses throughout Los Angeles. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Route Delivery Driver to join our team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys driving, staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers. No CDL is required.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver laundry to homes and businesses throughout Los Angeles
- Load and unload laundry bags weighing up to approximately 45 lbs
- Drive a company vehicle safely and professionally
- Follow your daily route and keep pickups and deliveries on schedule
- Use a smartphone/handheld device to track stops, update orders, and communicate with the team
- Provide friendly, professional service to every customer
- Communicate with customers about pickups, deliveries, and special requests
- Keep your vehicle clean, fueled, organized, and in good working condition
- Follow OrangeBag's safety, quality, and customer-service standards
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual — showing up on time every day is extremely important
- Comfortable driving throughout Los Angeles
- Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs repeatedly
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Honest and trustworthy
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and teammates
- Comfortable using a smartphone or handheld device while working
Requirements
- Valid California driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to meet our driving and employment requirements
- No CDL required
- Previous professional driving or delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in delivery, courier services, Amazon/DSP, food or beverage distribution, linen/uniform service, or other route-based work is a plus.
Schedule
- Part-time: approximately 30–35 hours per week
- Early morning start, typically 5:00 AM
- Daytime work — home every day
- Monday–Friday, with weekend availability required
- End time varies depending on the route and day's workload
Pay & Benefits
- $21.50–$22.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Tips paid every two weeks
