Delaware Brick Company is hiring an energetic, self-motivated yard person to join our growing team. Customer service is our top priority! We’re looking for someone with a friendly attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to help customers and coworkers.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting customers with selecting and picking up materials.
• Loading and unloading brick, block, pavers, and other building materials.
• Receiving deliveries, counting inventory, and keeping materials organized.
• Keeping the yard clean, orderly, and safe.
• Using good judgment to make decisions that serve both the customer and the company.
• Taking initiative, sharing ideas, and helping improve operations as our company grows and expands.
Must be dependable, work well with others, and stay productive with minimal supervision. We want someone who takes pride in their work and wants to help build the company’s continued success. This position involves outdoor work and physical activity. Forklift experience is a plus.
Pay based on experience.
