Job Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated delivery drivers to join our team. Drivers will be responsible for loading and scanning packages, following daily delivery instructions, and completing assigned routes efficiently and safely.
Routes and service areas may change from day to day, so applicants must be comfortable with a flexible schedule and changing route assignments.
Pick up location is in our Commerce warehouse every morning.
Delivery areas are Fullerton, La mirada, Santa Fe Spring, Yorba Linda, Brea, La habra and surrounding. You will not have all those cities in one day but the route may vary within those cities each day.
Responsibilities
Pick up, scan, load, and organize packages
Complete assigned deliveries accurately and on time
Follow routes and instructions provided for each workday
Adapt to route changes and varying delivery areas
Provide professional customer service
Maintain a safe and clean vehicle
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Communicate promptly regarding delays, problems, or delivery issues
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid California driver’s license
Authorization to work in the United States
Reliable 4-door sedan or approved delivery vehicle
Clean driving and criminal records
Ability to pass a background check
Commercial auto and cargo insurance, or enrollment in the company’s insurance program
Ability to lift, carry, and deliver packages throughout the day
Strong attendance, dependability, and time-management skills
Comfortable working Monday through Sunday with changing daily routes
Additional Information:
Drivers are responsible for the one time $57 Checkr background-check fee
Commercial auto and cargo insurance is required; company-provided coverage may be available for approximately $11 deducted per day
Previous experience completing approximately 90–125 stops per day is required
This is a 1099 independent-contractor position
