We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will manufacture diagnostic medical film while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the production process. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work a rotating 12-hour night shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment to produce diagnostic medical film.
Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure product quality.
Perform product sampling, quality inspections, and statistical process control (SPC) testing.
Package finished products for shipment.
Safely move materials throughout the facility using Power Industrial Trucks (PIT), when certified.
Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support flexible workforce and production needs.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required,
at least 2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work a rotating 12-hour night shift.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written work instructions in English.
Experience performing repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds for short durations.
Ability to work in photographic safelight conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and manufacturing processes.
Experience with automated production reporting systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work a 12-hour shift on the production floor.
Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
