Job Duties:
This position provides mentoring and supervision to individuals who have Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) while they volunteer at local non-profits and explore their community. The purpose of this work is to facilitate greater community connections and a broadening of job skills for individuals that work at our recycling facility. The position requires driving a van with a group of 3-6 individuals who have IDD to and from volunteer work and community activities.
The individuals receiving supports in our volunteer/community activity program all work for SustainAbility Recycling. A company that aims to fill unmet recycling needs in the Denver Metro area, while recognizing that we all have gifts and talents to contribute to our community and planet.
