Storage drawers underneath and Bookshelf end tables/cupboards/storage on each side.
It has a couple of minor scuffs and marks from 20 years of use,but is solid oak and built to last a lifetime. One of the headboard reading light bulbs burned out so I've only included the working one in the bag of screws that I removed.
It comes with a California King Sized mattress and 3 inch pillow top mattress cover included.
It was originally a waterbed frame, but we switched out for a regular Cali-King mattress a few years back. So you can actually leave off the sides of the mattress 'box' when you assemble it if you just want to throw the mattress on top of the base.
I made detailed drawings when I disassembled it and printed out illustrated assembly instructions for when you put it back together.
It's a fantastic bed but we're moving to a smaller house and all of our bigger furniture has to go.
This is a HUGE bed. 9 feet 6 inches wide from the outsides of the side cupboards/bookshelves, and 8 feet from the wall to the foot of the bed. Perfect for tall folks or people who like room to realllly stretch out. It will accommodate an entire family (and a few pets) for 'movie night'.
I've already disassembled it for easy transporting after taking these photos, and I'm in the process of moving it to the ground floor of my house so will be pretty easy to get into a truck or van via the front door with no stairs involved.
You will definitely need a truck or van to move it.
