Introducing the Litz’n Hear Model VI, with hum-canceling single coil tone.
This improved design humbucker-sized pickup sounds just like a vintage single coil strat pickup. We achieve this by winding 4-strand twisted-copper Litz wire on a “dummy coil” which is then coupled with the magnetically active 42 gauge "strat-like” coil. Because the “dummy coil” is magnetically isolated from the primary music-signal generating coil, it cannot cancel your primary music-signal. In fact, the big difference between the previous Model V and the now Model VI is improved magnetic isolation of the dummy coil. The result is a clear, chimey, single-coil tone with virtually no hum, guaranteed. All components of this pickup are of the highest quality, assembled in Massachusetts.
