They link together into one large surface by the Velcro on their edges. Surface is free from damage or holes. They have some cosmetic marks from usage.
My kids have had these for years and really jumped and beat on them pretty good. We used them to cover their upstairs playroom because my son has a lot of energy so we laid those down and he could jump on them from towers he made with his other cushion blocks, do summersaults, all kinds of stuff, so we know they’re pretty durable.
