• Support events and guest areas: set up and clean up outdoor spaces for weddings, gatherings, and fire pit use; ensure terraces, decks, lawns, and common areas look inviting and well-maintained
• Perform light building maintenance tasks such as painting, basic carpentry, replacing light fixtures, tightening hardware, and addressing minor plumbing or electrical issues (as qualified)
• Collaborate with the maintenance, housekeeping, and restaurant teams to keep the entire estate welcoming, safe, and fully operational
• Follow all safety protocols, use equipment properly, and report major issues or repair needs promptly to the maintenance supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements-
• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, property maintenance, or general handyman work preferred (lawn care, gardening, snow removal, minor repairs, etc.); will train motivated candidates
• Knowledge of Vermont seasonal needs (mowing, leaf removal, snow/ice management) and basic equipment operation (mowers, trimmers, snow blowers, chainsaws, hand/power tools)
• Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs using common tools
• Physical ability to perform outdoor and hands-on work in all weather conditions: stand/walk for long periods, lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in heat, cold, rain, or snow
