Plug-In Auto is hiring a dependable, energetic, and organized Test Drive Coordinator to help provide our customers with an excellent dealership experience.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing position. Your primary responsibility is to make sure scheduled test-drive customers are greeted professionally and that their vehicles are located, clean, prepared, and ready before they arrive.
You will accompany customers on test drives, provide basic vehicle product knowledge, and then transition them to the appropriate Sales Representative to continue the purchasing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan ahead and identify which vehicles need to be located and prepared.
• Locate and pull vehicles before the customer's scheduled appointment.
• Become familiar with the vehicles you will be showing, including major features, options, technology, and basic product information.
• Inspect each vehicle before the appointment and make sure it is clean, presentable, and ready for the customer.
• Check basic vehicle functions before the test drive and immediately report any issue, damage, or warning light to management.
• If a vehicle is dirty, coordinate with the detail department to have it washed and prepared before the customer's arrival.
• Stage appointment vehicles in the designated area so customers are not waiting while vehicles are being located.
• Professionally greet customers when they arrive.
• Confirm the customer's appointment and the vehicle they are interested in.
• Accompany customers on test drives while providing a professional and friendly experience.
• After the test drive, properly introduce and transition the customer to the assigned Sales Representative.
• For sold vehicles, assist with vehicle preparation as directed by management, including removing dealership addendums/stickers and installing plates when applicable.
• If an appointment is a no-show, return the vehicle to its proper location and provide management with the no-show list/information.
• Assist with keeping the dealership lot organized so vehicles can be easily located, pulled, and prepared.
• Maintain familiarity with dealership inventory and vehicle locations.
• Assist management and the sales team with reasonable vehicle-related duties as needed.
