Swapped a couple good hens to rescue these 2 roosters from the soup pot! Very cool birds!!! They are apparently a breed from Australia, bred from outcrossing Silkies to get Fibromelanosis/hyperpigmentation qualities (black skin, black bones, etc.). I don’t remember the name of breed, but I will post. They are lovely tempered birds, and have never shown any aggression toward me. Selling them for the value of the two purebred young hens that I swapped.
