Beat the fuel pump! Commute without gas! Costs about 25 cents for a full charge at home overnight on a standard household outlet (9 hours). 500+ MPGe! Less than 1 cent per mile at current Chelan/Douglas residential power rates.
2016 Zero FX 6.5 kWh electric dual sport motorcycle with 2900 miles. Fast and fun, no clutch, no shifting, no noise. I recently replaced the carbon fiber drive belt. Pulls hard to 70 mph, top speed about 85 mph. Plenty of power for hills. Has multiple drive modes, ABS, and regenerative braking. It is in good condition but there are scratches in the plastic from trail riding. I've included a picture with the batteries removed. The batteries are in good condition. Garage kept. Seat is in very good condition.
Includes 2 lithium batteries; ride with 1 or both. Under 290 lbs with both batteries installed or under 250 lbs with a single battery. This is plated, registered, and and fully street legal for highway use. Rides and feels like a lively 400cc bike if you are comparing acceleration and power to weight.
Range can vary depending speed, weight, incline, and temp. Ride many hours on low speed trails, about 70 miles in city traffic, about 50 miles @ 55mph, or maybe 35 miles @ 70mph. Double your commuting range if you can charge at work. There is also an optional external quickcharger/ adapter that works on 120v or 240v and would let you charge 1 battery while you are riding with the other battery for nonstop riding fun. I do not have this but I have included the information below.
From Wenatchee I've ridden to Cashmere and back many times. I've also ridden to Naneum Ridge Lookout. The tank bag is included and 2 charging cables.
I'm selling because I don't enjoy riding off road as much as I thought I would. Thank you for reading. Please call or text and I'll call you back. If you choose to text me and you are a person, do not ask if it is available. Which picture is your favorite?
