Global Erosion is looking for a motivated, reliable and professional laborer who can effectively work with their crew to install erosion control materials. PLEASE REVIEW Qualifications before contacting us.
Laborers are responsible for safely installing erosion products using small hand tools and equipment. They must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with crew leader and team.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to Company Safety Standards, including the proper use of machinery and equipment.
Load and unload materials.
Follow instructions from crew leaders.
Remove, fill, compact and prepare the terrain.
Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
Assist fellow crew members.
Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.
Act as a spotter for vehicles as required.
Required Qualifications:
MUST HAVE 2 years experience in erosion control
Must be at least 18 years old.
Physically able to walk, bend, squat and lift 50+/- lbs.
Physically able to use shovels, hammers, and various basic construction tools
Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, & wind
Ability to operate small machinery such as Bobcat, a plus.
Show up on time mentally and physically ready to work
Work is available immediately for qualified candidates!
Overtime is available during peak season.
