These are the unique skis with that stainless steel outer skin and a Titanium core.
Being a female, I bought them specifically when I read that, at that time, the Canadian National Women Team chose those skis as their favorite. This probably does partially have to do with the added weight in comparison to the traditional wood core construction. And they do perform, as if a turbo charger was mounted onto them. They make for a perfect upgrade for someone that wants to step up from basic beginner to a skier that wants to master the mountain with a smile on their face.
I weight 150 lbs., and my husband, who is lightweight, has the same ski and will never let go of them.
They are in nice shape, no chipped edges and solid base. They have been stored since 2007, when life's other challenges took over. They come with poles and a sturdy travel bag.
