Employment: Full-Time
Pay: $20–$23 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday work when necessary.
About the Position
Established powder coating company in the western suburbs is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to handle general building, facility, and shop maintenance.
We are looking for someone who enjoys fixing things, troubleshooting problems, and keeping a manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* General building and facility maintenance.
* Basic electrical repairs, including lighting, switches, and outlets.
* Minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, leaks, and drains.
* Basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Mechanical repairs and adjustments to shop equipment.
* General painting, patching, and minor carpentry.
* Repair and maintenance of doors, locks, fixtures, and other building components.
* General shop upkeep and preventive maintenance.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in building maintenance, handyman work, or industrial maintenance.
* Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
* Ability to use common hand and power tools.
* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Manufacturing experience is a plus.
