We are looking for a reliable mid-level video editor who can edit high-resolution short-form videos using CapCut.
The editor should be comfortable working with raw footage, improving the overall video quality, adding professional visual elements, and creating clean, engaging edits suitable for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
All of our videos are in English, so the editor must have a good understanding of spoken and written English. You should be able to understand the dialogue, identify important parts of the script, create accurate subtitles, and place text or visual elements according to what is being discussed.
Workload:
8 short-form videos per month
Approximately 1–3 minutes per video
Ongoing monthly work for the right editor
Main Responsibilities:
Edit high-resolution raw footage in CapCut
Review and understand English-speaking footage
Select the best clips from the provided footage
Stabilize shaky footage when necessary
Perform color correction and color grading
Improve the overall visual quality of the footage
Create accurate English subtitles
Add appropriate on-screen text based on the spoken content
Add motion graphics, transitions, overlays, pop-ups, icons, and other visual elements
Add product images, supporting visuals, B-roll, or reference clips when required
Add suitable background music and sound effects
Improve pacing and remove unnecessary or repetitive sections
Follow reference videos and recreate similar editing styles when requested
Maintain consistent branding and visual style
Export videos in high resolution and the correct social-media format
Make revisions based on feedback
Requirements:
Mid-level video editing experience
Strong experience using CapCut
Good English skills are required
Must be able to understand spoken English clearly
Must be able to create accurate English subtitles and on-screen text
Comfortable working with high-resolution footage
Good knowledge of stabilization, color correction, and color grading
Experience with text animation, motion elements, overlays, transitions, and visual effects
Good understanding of pacing and visual storytelling
Ability to follow reference videos closely
Strong attention to detail
Reliable communication
Ability to meet monthly deadlines consistently
Comfortable receiving and applying revision feedback
Preferred Editing Style

Suitable for beauty, skincare, medical aesthetic, and professional product content
You should be comfortable using advanced CapCut features, rather than only basic cuts, transitions, and templates.

Raw footage, scripts, reference videos, product materials, and general editing instructions will be provided.
Trial Video
We may begin with one paid trial video to evaluate:

Pacing
Use of visual elements
Ability to follow references
Attention to detail
Communication
Turnaround time
If the trial goes well, we are interested in building an ongoing monthly collaboration.
