This vintage unisex bike is likely the cleanest example of this model. The mixte frame style has numerous advantages. Convenient mounting and dismounting for one. Unlike open triangle step-through frames that can flex or twist, the mixte’s design provides a rigid triangulated structure to maintain excellent handling and power transfer. They also present a lower center-of-gravity improving overall stability. Added bonus: they look cool!
The 19-inch frame is Tange Champion #5 with forged dropouts and seat stay ends. It has only the faintest scratches in the shiny Sky Blue paint. Fork uses Tange High Tension tubes with forged dropouts and forged semi-sloping crown. Frame has cable guides for brakes and derailleurs and, bosses for water bottle and chain-rest.
Brakes are Dia Compe AC5000 side pull with quick release and safety levers.
Derailleur - 12 speed SunTour ARX aluminum aerodynamic wide ratio rear and front with stem mounted levers.
