The first year Trek made a mountain bike. I'm selling this project because I have too many bikes and need to free up space. This frame is in exceptionally good condition aside from the pictured paint chips on the left chainstay. I've polished the entire frame and the imron paint really shines. Original decals. I built a custom set of wheels for it with Velocity Cliffhanger rims laced to Deore XT hubs, double butted sapim spokes, 7 speed cassette. I installed NOS Suntour XC cantilever brakes with fresh koolstop pads. Brand new House Of Looptail Snake belly tires. All bearings cleaned and repacked.
Pick up in Ventura area. Willing to pack the bike up for shipping for an extra $100, you pay shipping.
