Tracker Safe is a local family-owned business that values safety, teamwork, and integrity. We sell, service, deliver, install gun safes/security safes locally. We also wholesale drop ship safes nationwide - this is the bulk of our business. This position offers experiences in many areas. We offer a dynamic work environment where you will not be doing the same thing every hour of every day. There will be opportunities for overtime when we are very busy, but overtime is not guaranteed. Opportunities to grow within our company as well. We take the proper time to fully train our employees as we understand there are many aspects and details required in this job roll.
Tracker Safe is looking to fill a position in which we will ask you to perform warehouse duties such as inspecting safes, lock installations, shipping/receiving, unloading 40’ containers, and other general warehouse tasks including keeping the warehouse clean & organized. You will learn a lot about all different aspects of how a business is operated which will help you grow into a very well-rounded individual. We will also need your assistance with the delivery, moving, and installation of safes. Delivery and installation of safes is a team activity includes taking the safe off the pallet, maneuvering it into place in a home or a garage, and bolting it down to the floor. These safes can be over anywhere from 100-1000lbs+. We have all the proper equipment to move safes and we have training in place to ensure a safe work environment.
In a small team environment, helping out on deliveries will evolve into a weekly task of roughly +/- 10 hours per week for this position. The other +/- 30 hours will be the warehousing tasks described above. You will always have the opportunity to work a full 40 hours per week unless otherwise mutually agreed upon during less busy seasons(if applicable).
Tracker Safe is owned by brothers Luke Boyer & Zach Boyer. We strive for an easygoing work environment that is also extremely productive at the same time. Main Requirements:
-A valid driver's license.
-Experience with a forklift (we can teach as well).
-Ability to work with power tools.
-Ability to use pallet jacks and hand trucks.
-Ability to lift, bend and twist to load and unload boxes, furniture and other goods.
-Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a consistent basis.
-Working cell phone.
Preferred Skills:
-Ship and receive product
-Ship or receive UPS, FedEx, USPS & LTL other freight carriers
-Appliance delivery or professional moving experience is a plus.
-Learning what parts and pieces are included for each job.
