Something for All at Multi-Family Yard Sale (Books/DVDs/CDs/Games/MORE (Salmon Creek, WA)

Let me tell you something, every year I think "Oh, well, we've done a pretty good job of not accumulating a lot of stuff recently, surely this garage sale will be smaller and less well-stocked than the last one!", and every year, I am proven quite dramatically wrong (as evidenced by the fact that I wrote the preceding sentence for the last three years' garage sales, yet it once again perfectly reflects my experience in 2026...). As always, as soon as various family members found out about the plans for a garage sale this summer, pretty much everyone had something (or, in most cases, several somethings) to contribute as well, so there is once again an immense range of items on offer for your perusal, kind neighbors. All this to say, I welcome you to stop by and check out the selection this Friday the 4th from 9:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday the 5th from 8:00am to 1:00pm, at 11312 NE 35th Avenue in Vancouver!

As is often the case, there's really too much to list, but here are some of the highlights:

• A decent collection of Pokemon Trading Card Game, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece TCG, and Lorcana items, including roughly 140 slabs (PSA and BGS), a few raw singles, and a small amount sealed products, all priced below market and in many cases essentially at MSRP after accounting for tax, as well as various empty tins, boxes, and so on. One of the photos includes a list of the sealed items available as well as associated prices, and another shows the two boxes of available slabs. If cash is tight, I'm also happy to accept trades of other Pokemon or One Piece cards on all of this stuff, straight across market value for market value (none of this "80% my favor" nonsense).
• An absolutely massive assortment of adult and children's books, generally ranging in price from 50 cents to $2.00.
• At least 100 CDs (mostly classical, with some others mixed in) priced at 50 cents apiece.
• A huge variety (hundreds? thousands?) of DVD and Blu-Ray movies and TV series, some still factory sealed, including popular and in-demand sci-fi/fantasy films (e.g., Star Trek, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Transformers), and most priced between $1.00 and $3.00.
• A small collection of computer and console video games and accessories, all priced below market.
• A large number of conventional board and card games, pretty much all complete, and a few brand new and unplayed, most ranging in price from $1.00 to $4.00.
• A few rare and collectible board and card games, both modern and vintage, priced at or below 50% of typical online retail price.
• Various baby and child clothes and supplies, including but not limited to a diaper pail, a booster seat, several potty seats, a Pamo Babe travel crib, and Britax B-Free stroller.
• So, so many shoes, adult and child alike. Where did all of these shoes come from??! I mean, the kids have outgrown theirs, which makes sense, but that doesn't explain the number of adult shoes that are sitting here waiting for new homes. It's fine, I'm sure. Anyway, they are priced very competitively, depending on brand and condition.
• A frankly ridiculous number of stuffed animals and kids' toys, many contributed by my nine-year-old daughter who has careered headlong into the wild and exhilerating world of garage saling. Buy a few and help make a newly-minted fourth-grader feel utterly intoxicated with the feeling of turning stuffies into cash!
• Several ViewSonic 22-inch computer monitors, all in good cosmetic and functional condition and priced at only $10.00 apiece, including power cables.
• A copy of ESRI ArcGis 9 Desktop, including a huge number of add-ons, extensions, and supplemental materials. I have tested the software, and presuming you have the necessary setup to run it, I believe it should still be fully usable (besides being a kick-butt collector's item). Exceedingly difficult to find nowadays--ESRI would much prefer that you pay them a ludicrous amount of money each year for a subscription--and while I really feel I should probably be asking more, you can make yourself the envy of all the cool GIS nerds for just $100.00.
• A huge collection of vintage computer software, hardware, and documentation/manuals, mostly Atari 400/800 but with some Commodore, IBM, and Apple items included as well. I have these items currently listed on eBay for a total of close to $50k and am not in any hurry to sell, but if a local collector is interested in taking the entire lot and clearing up some space in the garage, I would be willing to entertain an honestly dizzying discounted price for everything.
• A seven-piece patio set, including a table and six chairs, very sturdy and generally high quality, but in need of some cleaning and repair to several tiles that have come loose; I am certain this set originally retailed for $1,000+, but given the condition, I am asking a modest $100.00 for it. This set is heavy, so I won't have it out front--if you would like to take a look, I'll be happy to walk you to the backyard to check it out.
• And, of course, so much more than I could list above. Who knows what treasures await you that have been dramatically underpriced due to a combination of sleep deprivation and general ignorance of their value?!</li
