This is the real McCoy, if you will. Manufactured to meet strict and high US government specification for wildfire fighters. It has never been deployed.
It is ideal for that avid outdoors person who spends lots of time in the forest, the homeowner who lives in a hazardous area, or that well-prepared person who simply wants the best in personal fire protection. It is one of those “must have” items for any serious prepper.
I put a lot of miles on my car this summer driving through countless areas where fire had damaged the surrounding landscape. A shelter like this offers peace of mind and could by your life-saver…
Keep it in your car, or your home. Compact enough to pack around if you go deep into the country…
It comes in an approximately 10”X6”X4”, 5 pound package. The protective material itself is heat-resistant foil.
The corner of the plastic covering is a little worse for wear. However, that is merely the protective cover; the shelter itself is like new.
These are close to $600 new.
I believe this one was manufactured by Anchor Industries.
