The kennel consists of two plastic pieces and a metal door. It is easy to assemble with no tools required. The two pieces are held together with 11 metal bolts and plastic nuts, of which five are missing. It has been used it without all bolts with no problems. Getting five replacement nuts and bolts would require a quick trip to a hardware/home improvement store.
This is definitely used but still quite functional, with a fully operational door. The plastic is scuffed, and the metal door has some rust on it from years of storage (see photo with door open). There is a smaller amount of rust on the two side ventilation grates.
I saw a Petmate Ultra Vari Kennel with the same dimensions on the Petco website for $210. Not sure what the difference is between the Vari Kennel and the Ultra Vari Kennel … and obviously this one is not brand new.
I am asking $35 (cash only) but will consider all reasonable offers since I have no idea how much a not-so-gently used dog kennel like this is worth.
I live just outside Vancouver, Washington, about 3 miles west of Interstate 5 and would expect you to come get it. I suspect the kennel would fit in the back seat of virtually any vehicle. Please see map for more details on my location.
