About the Job
We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our renovation/construction team as entry-level laborers. This is a part-time (26 hours per week) position and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in maintenance, construction, or the skilled trades and learn valuable hands-on skills from the ground up. This position supports projects (both indoor and outdoor) at various job sites across the Portland Metro and Vancouver and Salem areas. No prior construction experience is required - training will be provided. You will work alongside experienced team members who will teach you the fundamentals of maintenance, construction, remodeling and job site safety. This role involves working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments, assisting skilled tradespeople and helping maintain safe, clean, and efficient job sites.
Key Responsibilities
▸Assist in general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
▸Loan and unload tools, equipment and supplies
▸Clean and prepare job sites (remove debris, set-up barriers, etc.)
▸Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers
▸Operate basic hand tools and equipment (training provided)
▸Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures
▸Travel to different job sites as assigned
▸Support other team members as needed and directed
Requirements
▸No prior experience required - willingness to learn and work is key
▸Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods)
▸Dependable, punctual, and motivated
▸Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
▸Must be at least 18 years old
▸Reliable transportation is required to travel to bariouis job sites throughout the Portland Metro and Vancouver, WA areas.
▸Basic understanding of workplace safety practices (training provided)

▸Previous labor or construction experience
▸Familiarity with basic tools
