We are a small construction company looking for a journeyman carpenter who will assist in all phases of commercial and residential construction. Your job would entail working in diverse settings to build, fix, replace, or rebuild building components and work up to leading a crew or solo.
The ideal candidate should have extensive framing knowledge with rough and finish carpentry but also experience in some other common building trades. This would include experience in an of the following: doors, windows, cabinetry and built ins, fixtures, roofing, siding, drywall, texturing, painting, Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing helpful.
You will work to maintain the highest standard of workmanship on all projects and products; insuring they are completed on time, within budget and within scope of work. This should all be completed with the upmost attention and craftsmanship.
In this role, it is crucial to have a good attitude and flexibility is a must. You must always be willing to learn new things and teach others. Must be able to prove 3-7 years of experience in residential and commercial remodeling. You will need to be willing to drive within Vancouver and Portland Metro Area for jobs.
