System is ceiling mounted. It attaches to regular or drop ceiling. Backgrounds are attached to smooth traveling carrier that is dual-wheeled, and made of nylon. It compresses 10 ft backgrounds to as little as 18 inches, depending on the thickness of the material you decide to use. We had multiple backdrops and were quickly moved during studio shoots.
