The Avocent Cyclades 16 port remote Advanced Console Server (ACS6016MSAC) integrates advanced technologies, adaptive services and secure enterprise communications for high-end, large, enterprise data centers. These console servers offer the performance and reliability necessary to efficiently access and manage IT assets such as servers/desktops/laptops (UNIX, Linux and Solaris), routers, switches, public branch exchange (PBX) telecommunications equipment (DSU/CSU) and serial power devices. They allow you to access pre-boot system BIOS/etc, just like being physically in front of the system.

Includes fourteen (14) Avocent Autoview KVM Switch PS2 Cable Modules (PS2IAC-7) plus includes fourteen dual PS2 to single USB converter dongles (to convert the PS2 to USB). These 7ft CAT 5 integrated KVM access cables are designed to reduce cable bulk. The PS2IAC-7 cables can convert keyboard, monitor and mouse signals from a server/desktop/laptop through a single integrated CAT 5 cable to through the KVM console which can be remotely logged into. The PS2IAC-7 cable draws its power from the server and has Keep Alive functionality that will keep your server working properly with or without connectivity to the Avocent KVM switch or serial console switch. The PS2IAC-7 supports two PS2 (keyboard and mouse) connections (or USB with the PS2 to USB dongles) on Avocent Mergepoint KVM switches and Avocent AutoView KVM switches. These cables are not compatible with the Autoview 1000R or 2000R KVM switches.
