Two reverse glass paintings- Chinese lords--larger size - $1,000 (Sherman Oaks)

A knowledgeable Chinese man explained that these area married couple. A high ranking official and his wife.
Both sharing the same large bird / crane award
Frame and paint suggest they are older vintage. Not sure if they are over 75 years old
Two different paintings appear to be Chinese lords or members of an Imperial Court
(They could also be Korean. Not much in the design suggests Japanese or Thai but we are open to information)
These are HUGE paintings
Most reverse glass are smaller typically in the 14" x 20" size
These dwarf those and are nearly double the size
These are closer to 18" x 27"
VERY detailed compared to most reverse glass paintings
Better shading effects and fine line artwork than many which tend to be thicker lines with single shade backing color
These two have gorgeous colors and multiple shade colors creating better depth
