Role Description
As a core member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for validating the technical integrity of our RF over Fiber products. This isn’t just “inspection”—it’s ensuring the flawless quality and reliability of the equipment that powers global communication.
What You’ll Do:
Material Verification: Perform incoming inspection of critical parts and material.
Laser Component Screening: Perform screening test of critical laser parts, evaluating parameters of electro-optical transmitters, photodiode receivers, and attenuators.
In-Process Audits: Conduct in-process inspections to detect defects and deviations early in the assembly cycle, check fiber routing, bend radii, board-level solder joints, and correct documentation.
Final Inspection: Perform final product inspections before shipment to ensure compliance with engineering designs, system specifications, and customer requirements.
Traceability Records: Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records utilizing data management systems and logs.
MRB & Non-Conformance: Review and disposition Reject Tagged materials through the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
Floor Collaboration: Collaborate with production to implement corrective actions on the plant floor when recurring manufacturing anomalies or defects are discovered.
Equipment Calibration: Coordinate repair and calibration efforts of inspection and test equipment through outside vendors utilizing asset management system to ensure certifiable traceability.
What You Bring:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience within an electronics, RF, or fiber optic assembly manufacturing environment.
Technical Skill: Strong proficiency in reading assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, inspection instructions and bills of materials (BOMs).
Professionalism: Strong time management, a positive attitude, and a commitment to “Alignment” with company goals in a multi-tasked environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; basic computer proficiency for logging digital quality data.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Modern, climate-controlled manufacturing floor.
Ability to handle delicate electronic, hardware, metal, plastics and laminated materials.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
Benefits/Hourly Rate:
Hourly Rate:$22.00 to $32.00
