We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking **Fireplace Technician Assistant** to join our team.
We are a professional chimney and fireplace service company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. We provide chimney inspections, chimney sweeping, fireplace repairs, gas fireplace service, masonry repairs, and fireplace installations throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
No Experience Necessary — We Will Train You! Must be highly motivated
We will train the right person from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in the fireplace and chimney industry.
**Location:** Office in Van Nuys
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday with some Saturdays
**Employment:** Full-time
**Starting Pay:** Based on experience
Responsibilities
* Assist technicians with chimney inspections, sweeping, and fireplace repairs
* Assist with gas fireplace service and installations
* Help with masonry repairs and fireplace construction
* Set up and safely operate tools and equipment
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Load, unload, and maintain company equipment and materials
* Communicate professionally with customers
* Follow company safety procedures and technician instructions
* Learn proper chimney, fireplace, and gas appliance installation and service practices
Qualifications
* Must have a CLEAN, VALID DRIVERS LICENSE and reliable transportation. ( Our office is located in Van Nuys and your dispatched from our office in a company vehicle )
* Must be dependable and punctual
* Must be comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and elevated areas
* Must be physically capable of lifting equipment and materials
* Must be comfortable working in tight spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and around fireplaces
* Construction, HVAC, plumbing, gas, masonry, or chimney experience is a plus but **not required**
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential
* Must be professional and respectful when working in customers' homes
