The top is 42" x 33" and it can raise from 35" to 42".
Nice cast iron hardware.
The top is Art Store covering for use with razor blade editing to protect the wood undeath.
It can be removed and replaced by any chosen material.
Typically one purchases a suspended light of choice for close up work on choice of art/drawing/writing, etc.
Also has a custom drawer the slides out underneath for pens, pencils, stamps, etc.
It didn't have any device to prevent the drawer from opening so I put a standard brass window lock to keep it closed while tilted.
Normal wear marks scratches.
Original owner was early generation Walt Disney artist.
I received it from their relative, who inherited it, so I am third owner.
The relative (2nd owner) didn't use it, just passed it along to me back in the 1980's.
It would be a nice item to take to the PBS Show: Antiques Roadshow.
I used it for writing music arrangements and orchestrations for film/tv projects that require large format paper.
