**Experienced Deck Installer – Part-Time / Project-Based (Can Lead to FT)**
We’re looking for an experienced Deck Installer who can take charge in the field, lead by example, and follow direction when needed. This position is part-time and project-based, with the opportunity to transition into full-time work for the right person.
**Please Note:** We are looking for an individual installer to join our team. **We are not looking for companies, subcontractors, or subcontracting crews.**
**Responsibilities:**
Install and repair residential decks and outdoor structures
Install composite, PVC, and wood decking
Perform framing, joist, beam, and structural deck work
Install deck boards, fascia, stair systems, railings, and guardrails
Read plans, measurements, and project specifications
Perform layout and ensure proper installation and spacing
Work with materials such as TimberTech, Trex, and other decking products
Lead or assist team members on deck installations and repairs
Maintain professional communication with the office, customers, and other trades
Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
**Requirements:**
4+ years of deck installation or carpentry experience
Strong understanding of deck framing and structural components
Experience installing composite and wood decking
Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements
Experience with stairs, railings, and guardrails
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues in the field
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
