For your consideration is a vintage, US made Merlin Camena titanium road frameset, released between 2004-2005. The frame shows very light signs of use but is in exceptional condition with no cracks, dents, or significant damage or wear to speak of. The bike is a size small, takes 700C wheels, and would be ideal for a rider between perhaps 5’3” and 5’7”. Please consult pictures for dimensions; other measurements can be provided upon request.
Tom Kellogg designed with beautiful design touches including bonded carbon seatstays, machined engraving details, and a gorgeous, raw titanium finish that shows beautifully for its age.
Available to show in person in Santa Clarita, SF Valley, NoHo, etc.
The frameset can also be shipped insured via Bikeflights at the buyer’s expense with shipping quoted at time of purchase.
The frameset includes the following:
Original Merlin carbon fork (1-1/8” threadless)
Original Merlin seatpost collar
Ritchey seatpost (27.2)
Chris King headset
165mm/110BCD crankset and bb
I also have a Mavic Ksyrium wheelset I would consider selling along with it for an additional cost.
This is an exceptionally light and fast frame and represents the peak of American bike craftsmanship, but it is a project I don’t foresee myself bringing to fruition soon enough to justify keeping.
I’m asking $500 for the frameset alone and $700 with the wheels included. Sorry, no parting out.
