EMPRO is currently hiring a reliable Backup Delivery Driver to support local delivery routes as needed at our Canoga Park. This is an on-site position where drivers report daily and are assigned routes based on operational needs.
Schedule is Monday through Saturday, with Sundays off, plus one additional weekday off. Drivers can expect approximately 20–40 hours per week. Daily start time will be 8 AM.
Requirements:
Must own a small economical vehicle (25+ MPG)
Must own valid vehicle insurance
Must be able to read and understand direction/comfortable with GPS and electronic devices
Must be able to physically lift at least 25 lbs. regularly to load and deliver car parts
Job Duties:
Follow a GPS route delivering small car parts (brake pads, rotors, sensors, etc.) to local mechanic shops.
Operate the vehicle according to state traffic laws and safety regulations
Deliver merchandise to the proper destination
Obtain the customer's signature, and may be required to obtain payment for goods delivered.
Pick up and return merchandise from customers with proper documentation
Pick up incoming merchandise from vendors
Return to the work location (parts warehouse) with the returning product and paperwork.
