Shimano deore thumb shifters. 3x7 friction or indexed.
Shimano un300 bottom bracket, new.
Shimano optislick shift cable for the rear (excellent shift upgrade).
New cable housing, brake and shift.
New headset, threaded. 1 in quill (take off from a Rivendell).
Dia compe cable hanger. Brass ferrules for brakes, brass colored alloy ferrules for shifting.
Other components that were added before I got the bike include:
Trek 520 wheel set - Trek's own Matrix Titan II rims built with Shimano deore DX hubs 7 speed hg cassette (run super smooth). 32 spoke. Shimano cx50 cantilever brakes.
SQlabs saddle (it's kinda worn but, still works fine).
New chain.
Some cheap pedals.
Some cheap tires (35c). Frame can run up to 42c no problem, maybe 45c.
Fork could run 50c.
Standard parts which are original to this build are...
Shimano stx crank set 170mm running 42/32/22 chain rings.
Shimano stx sgs rear mech.
System 1 cro-moly hybrid stem.
Micro adjust seatpost with standard trek qr seatpost collar.
Other than that the frame paint does have some marks from storage.
Frame also has a small dent on seat tube drive side.
