Saddle has been fully pulled apart and looked over. It is solid and still has lots of years of riding in it. Tree and rigging are great. Someone before me replaced the stirrup leathers and added dee rings for a breastcollar. I have new latigo strings for it - just have not put them on. Those will be included or I can just put them on and cut them to the length you prefer. I do not physically have a copy of the order card shown here, but if you want a copy can be ordered through the N Porter Saddles page.
Very comfortable padded seat. Still has the original back billets (though I’d recommend replacing those if you’re going to actually put any real strain on them). Sheepskin on the skirts could stand to be replaced, but the saddle can be ridden in as is. None of the leather is dry rotted or brittle. Indoor kept and appropriately conditioned. These are excellent saddles, but it is simply too narrow for my horses.
