Elite Contract Flooring LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Flooring Apprentice / Helper.
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, energetic, and eager to learn a skilled trade. The ideal candidate enjoys staying busy, thrives in a fast-paced work environment, and takes pride in working hard and getting things done efficiently.
We work at a fast pace and expect our team members to bring that same energy and drive every day. We want someone who takes initiative, stays productive, learns quickly, and is excited to challenge themselves and develop new skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the flooring industry while learning from experienced professionals.
No flooring experience necessary. We are willing to train the right person!
Minimum Requirements
* Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50+ pounds regularly.
* Must have reliable transportation to and from various job sites throughout the Tucson area.
* Must be able to pass a background check to obtain access to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and other secured job sites.
* Must be available to work six days per week, including weekends as needed.
* Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work.
* Must be energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be willing to learn, follow instructions, take initiative, and maintain a productive work pace.
* Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working on your feet for extended periods.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist experienced flooring installers with daily projects.
* Help with demolition, floor preparation, and installation.
* Load, unload, and transport flooring materials and tools.
* Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
* Learn proper installation techniques for carpet, LVP/LVT, sheet vinyl, rubber flooring, and other flooring materials.
* Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
* Stay engaged, anticipate what needs to be done next, and take initiative without needing constant direction.
